Ingredients
- 1 sheet Jus-Rol™ Filo pastry, thawed
- 1 Leek, washed and well trimmed
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- 5 slices Parma ham, each cut into three
- Melted butter for brushing
- Sesame seeds

This example uses leek and parma ham to demonstrate how to make filo cigars

- Cut one filo sheet into three equal strips down its length.
- Stack the strips on top of each other.
- Cut the strips into 5 equal squares and re stack and cover whilst you prepare the leeks.
- Wrap a leek strip in a piece of parma ham.
- Lightly brush one square of filo.
- Lay the wrapped leek diagonally across one corner of the pastry.
- Roll up the leek in the pastry.
- Place on baking sheet, brush again with butter and repeat with remaining pastry and leeks.

- Thaw filo pastry in its wrapping and remove from the packaging when ready to use.
- Unfold sheets and lay them in a stack on a large piece of cling film.
- Cover stack with a second piece of cling film.

- Thaw filo pastry in its wrapping and remove from the packaging when ready to use.
- Unfold sheets and lay them in a stack on a large piece of cling film.

Method
- Preheat oven to 190°C (170°C for fan assisted ovens)/ 375°F/Gas M5.
- Cut Leek in to four lengthways, then each quarter into four, lay on baking sheet and drizzle lightly with butter and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly cooked. Allow to cool.
- Cut pastry into three equal sections across the width to give 3 long strips. Cut these 3 sections into 5 squares.
- Wrap a piece of ham around each leek segment and brush each pastry square lightly with butter. Place the wrapped leek diagonally across one square and roll the pastry into cigar shape. Brush again, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of olive oil.
